New Friend

On Friday, in Springfield, we found a new friend, in the Chuck E Cheese parking lot. She's about 8 weeks old and a boston terrier. She has one greyish eye and one blue eye, and for now (it might change) her name is Niko. Mommy and Daddy thought it would be easier for me to say. Now I have two Ko's. She's really cute and likes to follow me around. I like when she sits with me in my car seat too. Kiko and Niko finally are playing together and I thinks it's funny. She didn't want to play with him for the first few days, but man, when she decided to play, she really plays. Sometimes, I get to carry her too. Mommy or Daddy has to pick her up to put her in my arms though, I can't seem to get her up on my own even though I try really hard. I love to pet her and loving on her too, sometimes a little too rough, I forget she's not as big as Kiko is. So I go and play rough with him. He lets me jump on him and lay on him. All in all, it's been a fun first few days with our new friend, Niko.

We went to a birthday party for a lady Daddy works with daughter, Lia. She turned 3. We only had Niko for one day, so we took her with us. Everyone loved her there. She got so much attention!! I made sure to tell everyone that she was mine and not theirs and would randomly walk up to whoever may have her at the time and pet and hug her. Just so they would know. We had fun there, and then both of us were really tired so we went back home. We finally got our internet working again yesterday so Mommy is working on the updates. She has more for later!!

After we picked her up.
Showing Mommy my teeth.

I thought she might want to suck on my binky. Just trying to share.

Another car ride, and she gets to ride with me.

We were both pretty tired.
Holding Niko at my friend Lia's b-day party.
Spending some time outside, trying to teach her to go potty.

Day in the Big City

Daddy had today off. None of us really wanted to stay home so we decided we would venture to Springfield and Mommy and Daddy would take me to Chuck E Cheese. We all had fun there. I really like Chuck E. and I get just mesmerised watching the whole gang sing onstage. I even get Mommy or Daddy to take me to the stage so I could make sure to say hi to everyone. I was able to give Chuck E. a high five too! And then when he (Chuck E.) decided to come out and say hi to all of us kids I made sure I was there too. I gave hime half a hug, I wasn't too sure about giving a whole hug. He got a high five and knucks too. Oh and a kiss on the nose. Chuck's one cool mouse. When he went on to say hi to other kids, I followed. He wasn't leaving my sight. Mommy thought that was pretty funny. At least I'm not afraid and running away from him, right?

After we were done at Chuck E Cheese, we decided to walk around Best Buy. It's the closest one to us, and that's not very close. I was pushing the shopping cart around (Mommy and Daddy's idea to entertain me). I really had that thing going fast. They decided to direct me to something else because they were afraid I would run into something expensive and break it. That wouldn't have been good. So what is it that Mommy and I find? Rock Band! I played the drums. Mommy thinks I might be a future drummer because I was really rocking out and getting into it, just watch the video below and you'll see for yourself. Eventually though, we had to leave Best Buy.

We headed to Hooters for dinner. Daddy wanted some of their wings. I guess they're supposed to be good or something like that. I don't know, I wasn't eating them and that's all that matters. I did however eat some fried pickles. Who thought of that? Well, whoever did was a genius. They were yummy! I ate some of those and some tator tots, but refused to eat anything else. I give Mommy and Daddy a hard time when it comes to eating nowadays. Before we left, Daddy made sure to get a picture of me hanging out with all of the girls. They love me, of course, who doesn't? Mommy put the picture up too, it's a little blurry though.

After all that, we headed home. What a busy day. I'm extremely sleepy so off to bed for me. Stuffing my mouth with as much fried pickle as I could fit.
Cheesing with all of the girls.

They loved me.

You should probably mute your volume because the video for some reason doesn't play the actual sound but instead some really annoying sounds. Just a thought!

I'm Back!

We finally have internet again! That means Mommy can help me update everyone on what I've been up to in the past week! I've been a very busy boy enjoying exploring our new home and meeting some new friends. Mommy is working hard to get me back on my schedule and sleeping through the night again. Some nights I decide I want to sleep all night, other nights, not so much so I wake Mommy and Daddy up a couple times. No big deal :).

It's been nice having Daddy here everyday. It's different. We get along pretty good and we play together a lot too. My favorite toys all still involve wheels (trucks, cars, trains). I have a truck with me where ever I go and I make sure to point out all the trucks we pass while we're in the car too. I'm really good about that. Just want to make sure Mommy and/or Daddy don't miss it!

We have had a couple days of sunshine in the past week. Yesterday me and Mommy played outside for a little bit after my nap. Kiko was out there so we hung out with him. I was doing my "falling" game where I get up and run and go kur-plop on the ground, and repeat. I do that inside too. It's pretty fun and make everyone laugh. Mommy put some pictures of me playing outside up.

On Saturday, I was playing in Mommy and Daddy's room, jumping on Kiko like I usually do, but then I jumped to far forward and hit my face on Mommy and Daddy's bed. They don't have an actual bedframe, just the metal frame under the bed so Mommy thinks I hit it on the boxsping. She picked me up to comfort me and make sure I didn't cut my lip or anything. I only cried for like 30 seconds. So Mommy takes me to my room to change my diaper. That's when she noticed the damage. I chipped my front left tooth and have a bruised line across one of my eyebrows. The chip is barely noticeable. About the size of the tip of a pen. I notice, I kept sticking my finger in my mouth to feel it, but you wouldn't see it unless Mommy or Daddy pointed it out. Probably to small to even get a picture of. Oh well, I'm going to lose that tooth anyways, and at least it wasn't a big chip!

So that's about all that has been going on here, besides the really bad storm we had last week that Mommy talked about in her blog.

I like to drive on Kiko. I tell him to sit next to me all the time. He doesn't always listen though.

Me and Mommy went over to a friend's house for an easter egg hunt. Enzo had tons of trucks that I got to play with!

I got to drive a little at the bowling alley this weekend.

And play a hunting game with Daddy too.

Then I feel asleep at the wheel while we were at the store.

My falling game in action.

This is my "show your teeth" face. Pretty funny.

Love it outside. Period.

Zooming around the front room with my truck.

Home..

Today we're moving into our new home. The movers are supposed to be there around 11-12 this morning with all of our stuff! I can't wait to have my bed and my own room again and all of my toys! It'll be nice! So now we're packing up to leave the hotel. I'm sad cause I won't be able to swim anymore, but it'll be ok.

Anyways, we probably won't have internet for a few days, so I won't be able to update everyone until we do! Just giving you a heads up! :)

Weekend fun

This was our first weekend here. Daddy had work on Friday so it was just me, Mommy, and Kiko for the day after we dropped Daddy off at work. At 430 in the morning. I stayed awake the whole time we were in the car too. Mommy did talk me into going back to sleep when we got back to the hotel but it still took a little bit to convince me. When we woke up we went downstairs and had some breakfast. There was a kid in there just my size! His name was J too! We were giving each other a tour of the "breakfast room" and looking in the cabinets and even gave each other a few hugs. Our mommies thought that was pretty cute. We went to Daddy's work for lunch and he got to show me off to all the girls in there. Since it was such a nice day out Mommy drove around post to find a playground for me. It was nice and sunny out and pretty warm too. I didn't need a jacket or anything. So we played for a bit at the park. She put a few of those pictures up for you. I am determined to walk up stairs now. I'm done with that whole crawling up the steps stuff. I'm a big boy, and big boys walk up the stairs, not crawl. So I'm going to keep trying to walk up them.

Yesterday morning Mommy took me to an egg hunt on post so Daddy could sleep in. She met one of the other mommies in her mommy group here. I had fun getting all the eggs and putting them in my basket. There were a lot of kids around my age there to do it too and lots and lots of eggs for all of us. I was a little impatient when they expected me to wait a whole 10 minutes with the eggs right there in front of me for them to decide it was time for us to hunt them. I'm only 19 months old, I don't understand why they wouldn't just let me go at it. Mommy finally gave in since I was screaming and let me put some eggs in my basket. She thought I didn't notice her throwing the eggs back when I wasn't looking, but I really did. It was ok though, I just went and got more. Finally they let us all go and I got 25 eggs all by myself! Some parents were cheating and grabbing armfuls of eggs, but I didn't care, my basket was full of my own eggs. I guess those parents didn't hear when they said for the kids only to pick up all the eggs. They only had stickers and stuff in them anyways. Either way I had lots of fun picking up all the eggs I got on my own. Mommy put some of those pictures too. After the egg hunt Mommy took me to the kids Fun Fair that was going on at the Child Development Center. It was fun there too. I got to play in all the different classrooms with all sorts of toys. They even had an area set up to make Personal ID cards for all the kids! They took all of my fingerprints and Mommy put in my name, height, eye color, hair color, weight, her and Daddy's names and our address so the man could make my card. He took a picture of me and then out printed my info cards. They even laminated it for me and put everything on a CD for Mommy so that later she can update things and make me a new card as I grow. Kind of cool to have in case I were lost or something scary like that. When me and Mommy left, I instantly fell asleep in the car. I preceeded to sleep for a whole 3 hours! When I woke up we all went and bought some bathing suits so we could go swimming! Swimming was fun too. We went again today also. All in all, a good first weekend here. So now, I am very sleepy and Mommy is going to put my to bed. Nighty Night!

I will walk up these stairs.
Deciding if I really want to go through there.

Practicing my balance. That thing moves as you walk.
Kisses for everyone.
Kiko wanted to cuddle so I said ok.
This was waking up to go egg hunting.
I know, it's crazy I was telling Mommy.

And one last picture to prove my point.

Kiko decided to cuddle with Daddy too.

Ready to egg hunt. Where's all the eggs?

Still looking.

I found one!
And a lot more!
This was at the fun fair.

I kept going up and down, up and down.

Oh yea, one more thing. So last night, I had Mommy pull off my socks for me and right after she did it, I said quite clearly wiggle wiggle! Mommy thought it was very cute so she wanted to share with everyone! Daddy usually pulls my socks off and says tickle tickle and I do try saying tickle tickle, but last night I decided to say wiggle wiggle.
That's all. :)

We made it!

We made it to Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri! After 5 whole days in the car! Man was I tired of being in the car! That's a lot for a guy as old as me. Mommy says I did really good though. I cried, of course, who wouldn't, but not too much. So now we're staying in a hotel until our beds get here next week. I'm not sleeping on the floor, that's for sure. So instead I get my own bed in the hotel. Cool huh? Daddy has to be at work at 430 am tomorrow! So me and Mommy have to get up and take him, otherwise, we'd have no car. Today we went and saw our new home too. I got to explore and everything! It was fun! I just ran all over the place. And to top things off, I get my own bath! I just love the bath!

Mommy help me put up a couple of pictures of me relaxing eating my pizza. Did I mention, I get to eat in bed? That doesn't happen often! So I take full advantage of that! I goof around and all that fun stuff toddlers like me are supposed to do.

I also talked to Nana and Papa on the phone. Mommy put up a couple videos of that. She thinks it's funny. I just love talking to them. I talk talk talk. I miss them too. They'll come visit us soon.

Now it's bedtime. Night night!

Who needs hands to eat? Not me.
That was my dinner tray.

That's me talking to Nana and Papa. Mommy says sorry they're a little jumbled, she was doing it with Daddy's phone!

Driving...and the Zoo

Today, we were on the road again. Who coulda guessed, huh? I mean, isn't that how things work when your driving halfway across the country? You're in the car a lot? We'll that's what Mommy and Daddy tell me. We've driven across Kansas today. Mommy says I'm doing pretty good in the car. We're in the car all day long and there's only so much to occupy a 19 month old. So what did Mommy and Daddy decide to do today to occupy me and let me run around? We went to the zoo! As we were driving along, Mommy and Daddy kept seeing signs for a "wildlife adventure" place. They decided we'd stop and see it, not thinking it would be a big thing. Well, they were surprised. There were all sorts of animals there! Lions, tigers, bears, sheep, girafes, wolves, leopards, reptiles, rhinos, lemurs. The list goes on and on. And the zoo was kinda in the middle of nowhere too. It was fun. I got to run and run. Poor Kiko had to stay in the car though. Back to me though, it was very exciting to see all the cool animals. I'd never seen most of them before! There was a petting zoo part with a cow, sheep, goats and some ducks and chickens too. There were llamas too but they were too lazy to come and say hi to us. Daddy was petting the cow but I was nervous to touch it. I did get brave enough to touch the sheep though. He liked attention. When we were leaving Daddy got me the lemur I'd asked him for when we first got there. I found it again so he got it for me. So today was a busy day. I got to drive sometimes too. I am obsessed with trucks! I want to stay outside and look at them. Daddy had trouble keeping me inside last night and this morning cause there were a whole bunch of them outside the room! My favorite are the big semi-trucks. Now those things are cool! Ok that's that, so now it's time for my milk and to go to night night. All my friends are waiting for me. (I have my puppy, moose, and now lemur too) Mommy put a bunch of pictures of the past 2 days for you too!
I got tired of walking so much so I decided I'd take a break on this perfect me-sized "bench".

I was so excited to see all the animals, I was just go go go the whole time!

I was so close to the white tiger!

Me and Daddy checking out the scenery in our cool shades.

two words.. goof ball
Just driving around...

Drinking and driving.. yesterday.

I think Mommy forgot something?
Me and Daddy went crawling in this tunnel under the bear cage. It went to this glass house thingy in the bear cage... coool

We'd first got to the zoo. The trucks were awesome.
Thats a cougar.. pretty kitty

Nighty night!
