Finally

I finally got my first haircut. After 2 years and 1.5 months. I did really well. I sat in the chair all by myself. Mommy held my hands, but I didn't need her to. She did it for herself, ya know. They took off a lot of hair too. You'll see. Beforehand, Mommy and Daddy took me around our town and took lots of pictures of me. It was a little late 2 year picture shoot. Better late than never, right? They got lots of good ones too. You know, I don't make it easy for them. I like having fun too much to sit still for a picture. But hey, what do you expect from a 2 year old? Lately, we haven't been up to a whole lot. I've had a cough and a runny nose for probably 10 days or so. No other problems though so I've just been trudging through it. I am teething my 2 year molars, so that could possible be the reason for the runny nose. Mommy hopes that my cough goes away soon. She feels bad not being able to do anything about it. We've tried honey and lemon and tea and steam..Nothing really worked for me. I sound pretty pathetic too. But it'll get better. Grandpa and Grandma Geiss (Mommy's daddy and stepmommy) are going to be in St. Louis this weekend so we're going to go and see them. It'll be fun. Hopefully me and Mommy get to get out more this week. It's been hard without the other car here. We've been stuck at home a lot. Which means, less updates because I'm not doing much. Kind of boring. And I wanna play before it gets too cold. You know, fall is here now. Well.. Mommy put up a bunch of pictures so that should hold you over til she is done with the others. Enjoy!

Pumpkin Patch

Fall is here. With fall comes...pumpkins! A few days ago, we headed on over to a pumpkin patch!! A bunch of my friends were going and Daddy didn't have to go to work so I got to spend time with my friends and Mommy and Daddy! Super cool! This was my second time at a pumpkin patch. I got to go to one last year too, but I was smaller so I wasn't super into it yet. But this year. I loved it! We got to go on a hayride, pick our own pumpkin, go through a corn maze (which I led the way, just so you know), pet and feed some goats. We also jumped around in some hay too! There were soo many pumpkins to choose from, and of course, I had to find the perfect one. Eventually I did and I'm very proud of my pumpkin. Once we were done picking pumpkins, we headed back onto the wagon for the last part of our hayride. Once done with that, we all decided to climb on the big huge pumpkins before heading to pet and feed all the goats. I really liked feeding the goats. I'd sit there and give them handfuls of food while having a little conversation with them. They'd lick me and give kisses. I think they liked me. Once we ran out of food, we headed on over to the corn maze. It was a big maze. I of course, had to take the lead. There was only a very short part where some of my friends took the lead, but I did it most of the way. It was fun running down the trail in all that corn! And when we found our way out, I wasn't done and Daddy had to convince me to leave by feeding the goats and jumping in the hay. That was a lot of fun too. I'd jump off the hay bales into the hay pit (there was a big matress covered in hay so we bounced). At one point, I fell out the entrance and hurt my ankle. That ended my jumping fun, but I did have just enough left in me to feed the goats once more. All in all, we all had so much fun! Mommy might take me back next week too! I hope she does, I want another pumpkin. Since Daddy has Mommy's camera and a lot of the pictures have to be developed (who uses film cameras these days??) you guys are gonna have to be held over with some cell pictures. Mommy added a few extra to help hold you over!

Yes, I rode the DUCKS!!! But before we get to that first things first. Nana and Papa are HERE!! They got here on thursday and stay until tuesday! Cool huh! I missed them and was so excited when I woke up from my nap on thursday to Nana getting me from my room! I of course had to make sure to show them everything and act like my total goofball self. Friday, Daddy had to work, so me, Mommy, Nana, and Papa went to Springfield to Bass Pro Shop. Papa wanted to take me and we were hoping all the work they had been doing when we went the last time Nana and Papa were here was done. It wasn't, but thats ok. I got to see lots of boats, and a whole bunch of turtles and fish and some snakes too!! I really liked all of them! Saturday, Daddy's friend Travis and his family came over for a football game. We BBQ'd and stuff like that. I got to play with their daughters too, they're 11 and 3. We had fun! Today, we all went to Branson. That's where riding the ducks comes in! Me and Mommy rode the ducks! Those we're fun. Mommy, unfortunatly didn't get a picture of the duck but it's a vehicle from WWII that goes on land and in water. Cool huh? I thought so. I also got this fun wacky quacker that did duck quacks when you blew into it! I had fun with that. I also got to go in a bunch of boats today too. I drove and drove and drove. Did I mention that I drove the duck too? Well, I did. I drove it in the water. Anyways, we had lots of fun today in Branson. Can't wait til tomorrow for Nana and Papa to come back over! Now its time for a bath for me then off to bed I go!

New Med

Yesterday I had a doctor appointment at the Children's Hospital. This was to test out a new medicine on me and see if it would work for me or not. It's not an everyday medicine, just one for me to take when I have bad scrapes/cuts or bumps and bruises that are problematic for me. For instance, if I scrape my leg in the road and it keeps oozing, then mommy will give me the medicine and it'll help it stop oozing. If I were to hurt my ankle and it was swelling, mommy could give me to medicine to help with that too. Also for bruises that hurt. The medicine will also help if I were to have a bad accident (car accident or something) and they couldn't get my emergency medicine, Humate P, to me quick enough, this new medicine Stimate will give more time. The down side, Stimate is only temporary. It only lasts a couple hours. It temporarily doubles my counts and helping the clotting process. Humate P, well that's an IV injection that directly replaces what my blood doesn't have. Make sense? Yea, me either. It's a good thing Mommy knows what it all means though. So yesterday, what they had to do was put an IV in my hand, take some blood, give me stimate (it's a nasal spray), then take blood at 15 mins, 30 mins, and 60 mins after I got the medicine. They're pretty sure it works for me. I was clotting before they could put the blood in the test tubes. And you know what I got for being such a good kid? CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM! They could take all the blood they wanted if that meant I got ice cream! So that's what was happening here! There will be blogs more often mommy said.
