Ice, Ice, Baby

This weekend, Me, Mommy and Daddy all went ice skating. I was really excited to go and kept asking Mommy and Daddy. So we headed to the ice skating rink for some fun. We got there, got our skates, and I practiced walking in mine. Mommy or Daddy had to hold my hand though. You know, those aren't that easy to walk in, on the ice or off the ice. Especially someone as clumsy as me. Then we headed to the ice. That was a little more slippery than I thought it would be. But as long as Mommy or Daddy held my hand, I was able to stay off my bottom. I would try to 'walk' a lot of the time. I had a lot of fun, even if it was hard to keep my legs under me. I kept telling mommy and daddy to go around again and I didn't want to stop for breaks. The whole time I had my tongue sticking out too cause I was concentrating so hard. That's something I must get from my g-gpa on Daddy's side and my gpa on Mommy's side. They both do it too. Sometimes, Daddy would hold on to me and go really fast too! I liked when he did that. Eventually though, it was time for us to leave. I want to go back again but next time we skate, Mommy and Daddy think it'll be roller skating. They think it might be a little easier on 4 wheels instead of blades. So we'll have to see. Until next time :)

Jump, Jump, Jump!

That's right! Today me, Mommy, and Daddy all went to JumpMania! For those who don't know, it is a place that is full of inflatable jumpers, slides, obstacle courses. I had so much fun! I've been to places like this before, but I haven't really liked it until the past few months. Well, since I've really learned to jump. Anyways, we went, and I was going crazy all over the place! I even started doing one of the obstacle courses by myself and climbing up the big slide alone too! Sometimes Mommy would have to follow me because there were some big kids that didn't notice me too much and I got squished a couple times. But that didn't stop me. There was only one course that I needed Mommy's help with. It was so hard to climb! Even Mommy had trouble! We stayed there for a few hours and I didn't want to leave! After, Mommy and Daddy took me to go mini golfing. That was pretty fun too! I would actually hit the ball with my club. I would then pick it up and put it in the hole. I even got a hole in one! Sometimes I like to hit the ball back to the tee too. I just liked hitting the ball period. I'm really excited to go again, both jumping and golfing. I just have to practice with my own golf stuff Grandpa & Grandma Geiss got me for Christmas. Practice makes perfect right!?

Mommy had more pictures on her phone, but yet again, they all got deleted! So tomorrow she'll put some of the golf ones from Daddy's phone up.

Charting

Me and Mommy made 'Jaeden's Reward Chart' tonight! On it, there is a list of things for me to do and for each one I do, I get a sticker on the chart. After a single thing 5 times, I then get a special reward. Each as a certain reward that I get. I'm really excited about this. So much so that I jumped up and cleaned up my toys to get my first sticker. My list is pee in the potty, poop in the potty, clean up toys, and finish my food. We'll add more as I grow and Mommy thinks of more things. And my rewards are a piece of candy, new hot wheel (pooping is a big deal for me), extra Dora time, and a special dessert. How exciting is that?! Tonight I wasn't ready to pee on the potty yet, but I told Mommy I'd be a big boy tomorrow and pee on the big boy potty. So wish me luck!

Snow, Snow, Snow!

It snowed last night and today... Enough for me to actually play in too. I really haven't gotten to play in any snow this winter yet, and I just love the snow. So once I saw it, I was determined to get Mommy to let me play in it. After getting all bundled up since it was really cold outside, we finally got to go play. Immediately, I wanted to take my lawn mower out and mow the snow. That was pretty fun. Then Mommy pulled my sled out and pulled me around on it. I like the sled.. A lot. I would switch off between the sled and the mower. And even Speaker, the cat, came out and played with me! When the time came for us to go back inside, I was not a happy camper. Even though my fingers were really cold, all I wanted to do was stay out in the snow and play. After I woke up from my nap, it was too dark to go back outside, so we'll just have to tomorrow. Maybe this time Austin can play too. I hope so. We hung out the other day and played with his new trains and his school bus. It'd been a long time since we've played together. So hopefully tomorrow =). I can't wait!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!!! This year, Mommy and Daddy decided if I didn't get tired and cranky before midnight, that I could stay up with them... Well.. guess what? I didn't get tired and cranky! So.. I made it to midnight! And we even lit a few sparklers too. I was a little unsure about them at first since our incident at the 4th of July party, but soon enough I wanted to hold one.


I mean, I needed to help Daddy out and everything. His hands were full ya know. But I was ready to give it back when it got about halfway down. That was a little too close for me.


But I definitely begged Daddy to go back outside and light another one. And I held it again.

But once it got too close I passed it off to Mommy and stood next to her. A good night for me. Now its off to bed. Happy New Years!!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! I hope everyone had as good of one as I did and that Santa brought lots of things for you! He brought me a lot! I was so excited when I saw that he came! And to top things off, it snowed during the night! I love the snow! While I didn't get to open presents right away and we decided to eat breakfast first (mmm potato pancakes) I did love tearing into all the presents! He brought me all sorts of cool toys! I got some cars, trucks, bikes, clothes, a guitar, some puzzles, and all sorts of other fun stuff from Santa, Mommy and Daddy, Nana and Papa, and Grandpa and Grandma Geiss! My friend Ethan and his Mommy and Daddy even sent me a present too! It's a cool utility ATV that I ride in! So exciting!! I loved everything. I'd open a present and was ready to play with it right then and there. But that's how its supposed to be, right? I also made sure to show Nana and Papa them too, they were on webcam the whole time I was opening. It was a lot of fun. And when I was done opening mine, I got to help Daddy open his. It was a good day. After opening all the toys, I made sure to play with each and every one. It was a good day! We just spent the day at home in our jammies...And I played and played and played some more. What could be better?

Letter from Santa

Today, I got a letter from Santa! You could only imagine how excited I was! He'll be here tonight and I could hardly wait! We've made him some yummy cookies and even decorated them all pretty. I'm a little jealous because I really wanted to eat the cookies myself, but Mommy kept telling me they were for Santa and maybe Santa will leave some just for me. I hope he does!



Everything has been very slow lately. I have ear infections again. They're not fun. So I get to be on yummy medicine. I remind Mommy to give it to me. I also remind her to give me my vitamin too. So smart huh?

I'm really excited for tomorrow. I hope Santa brings me all sorts of toys and presents. I've been trying really hard to be a good boy so I could be on the nice list. I don't want to be on the naughty list.
